This narrative was written by Sister Mary of the Holy Trinity
at the explicit request—almost at the command—of her confessor. It is to
him that it is addressed. We have had to omit certain names, out of
consideration for persons who are still living.
The Reverend Silvère van den Broek, O.F.M. was the confessor ofSister Mary of the Holy Trinity during the last year of her life and who
edited and published the autobiography and Notes which form her spiritual
legacy.

. . . that she has her own mission that no one else can fulfill like herself." (Note 184)
